Thought we might not always think so, we’re constantly judging a book…a blog post…and many other forms of content by their cover.
Not only visually (e-covers, etc.), but the title itself.
A well-crafted title can easily make or break your sales. But, how do you come up with a winner?
Here are a few ideas:
1. Research Amazon.com and New York Times best-seller lists to see what covers look like, what angles the books take, buzz words, etc.
2. Brainstorm WHO your reader is and WHAT their desired outcome of consuming your content most likely is.
3. Create a list of words you can include in your title or content headline, and then use Thesaurus.com to expand the list if necessary.
4. Test multiple approaches until you find a winner.
